Products >> expEDIum X12N Adapters
The expEDIum X12N Adapters are built using expEDIum X12N Engine and provide readymade transformation from a variety of legacy healthcare formats. These Adapters support formats such as NSF 2.0, 3.01, DMERC, 3.20D, 2.01u ERN, Envoy NSF, UB92 v5.0, v6.0, HCFA 1500, HCFA 1500 (08/05), UB92, UB04, Dental CSV Files and Print Image formats. The X12N data transformed by these expEDIum Adapters have cleared validation tests from several carriers and clearinghouses and more carriers/clearinghouses are being added frequently. Note that supporting additional payers need no additional effort or small incremental effort. The expEDIum X12N Adapters help Healthcare solution providers, software vendors, billing service bureaus, clearinghouses, hospitals, clinics and healthcare BPOs to become HIPAA compliant in a rapid and cost effective manner.

These adapters include:
  • Default GAP mechanism to fill data that could be missing from the input Legacy Healthcare format files but are required for generating complete X12N files, by default.
  • Profile mechanism to create and maintain multiple trading partners.
  • Support for multiple Payers.
  • Mechanism to provide installation specific custom edits.
  • Command line and graphical interfaces.
  • These adapters can connect to any open or proprietary database, this will involve some custom programming and iTech would need the database layout.

Any of the above adapters can be integrated into a larger application to provide seamless transformation of data from a legacy format to X12N format. Our other products such as expEDIum Claims Reconciliation (eCR) and expEDIum Claims Portal (eCP) use these adapters internally to provide legacy format support. We can also build adapters for other standard or non-standard legacy formats on demand.

You can request evaluation copies of our adapters from the Evaluation Request page.
